First Responder Kits4Kids Deescalate Children’s Emotional Trauma During First Responder Service Calls Where Children Are Present.
Our First Responder K4K Mission
Equipping First Responders with Distraction Kits.
The K4K program aims to provide kits or units to children who are experiencing trauma, stress, anxiety, and various mental episodes due to challenging environments or difficult circumstances, such as domestic violence, neglect, abuse, fire, or vehicle crashes. The program is designed to assist our youngest and most vulnerable community members.
The main goal of the K4K program is to provide children present during First Responder Service calls with effective tools to distract them and improve the relationships between all first responders and the communities they serve. The intention is to expand the K4K program to benefit communities throughout the United States.
Corporate Partnerships Make the Difference
The First Responder Kits4Kids initiative offers corporations and businesses an excellent opportunity to give back to the community while also gaining tangible evidence of their investment. Participating in this initiative can lead to positive public relations for the companies involved and provide a valuable team-building event for employees to engage with First Responders. The First Responder team assembly event fosters constructive dialogue between the community and First Responders, all working towards the common goal of minimizing the exposure young community members face during first responder service calls.
